"AI in rim" webinar series

AI is here and, like everyone else, we have questions about how it will impact information and records management, and how we can make AI work for, and not against, us. We want to go beyond basic theory and explanation to tackle AI topics we believe answer the practical, real-world needs of records professionals. We’ll bring in experts to give their views, experience, and actionable steps on what we can do now to get us, and IG/RIM, ready for the AI world.  Get ready for great presentations and discussion! As Dan Beard, our chapter president says, we’re past making the clay car, let’s make a real one!

#3 AI GOVERNANCE: AN ACTIONABLE HOW-TO GUIDE

Given the rapid adoption of AI by organizations across all sectors, the question of how to govern it effectively is top of mind for Information Governance professionals. However, the slow pace of AI regulation combined with the sheer number of non-AI laws and regulations that touch on AI make implementing effective AI governance a challenge. In this third session of our series, Joe Shepley presents a step-by-step approach to building your AI Governance program in a practical, scalable way. From creating an inventory of your current AI systems and the business processes that leverage them, to developing a regulatory crosswalk to document the laws and regulations your organization is subject to, to defining the specific controls needed to govern AI effectively, you'll leave the session armed with what you need to help your organization get AI Governance right.
