"AI in RIM" webinar series

AI is here and, like everyone else, we have questions about how it will impact information and records management, and how we can make AI work for, and not against, us. We want to go beyond basic theory and explanation to tackle AI topics we believe answer the practical, real-world needs of records professionals. We’ll bring in experts to give their views, experience, and actionable steps on what we can do now to get us, and IG/RIM, ready for the AI world.  Get ready for great presentations and discussion! As Dan Beard, our chapter president says, we’re past making the clay car, let’s make a real one!

#1 AI EDUCATION FOR RIM PROFESSIONALS: WHAT'S HERE, WHAT'S NEXT

Artificial intelligence is transforming records and information management—and education is the key to staying ahead. This first webinar in the series maps today’s learning landscape for RIM practitioners, from certifications and workshops to university programs designed for governance and compliance. We’ll also explore what’s on the horizon: emerging AI skills, ethical considerations, and evolving professional standards. Leave with clear, actionable advice on building AI literacy and positioning yourself for success in a rapidly changing digital environment.
